Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel

The property was great we travelled to visit Lego land. This hotel was right across the street from the shopping center. We were close to a lot of different food locations. Chick fil a, in and out panda we were close to them all. Loved that this place had a shuttle, only problem was the time they had change the time it and I had called in advanced to ask, I had to end up ordering an uber back. I wish the rooms were a lot more clean. The room I was given did not look like the ones in the pictures.

Perfect Location for a Legoland Trip! We had a great stay at this hotel! One of the best parts was how incredibly close it is to Legoland—less than 10 minutes away, which made it super convenient, especially after a long day of walking and having fun. Being able to get back quickly and relax was such a bonus. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and the outlet mall is right across the street—just a short, easy walk. It made grabbing a bite or doing a little shopping really convenient. The parking is great- you park right in front of your room if available! There’s a little patio out in the back and it’s a big beautiful green area perfect for toddlers to run around and in the morning.. Overall, the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for anyone planning a Legoland trip!

We love this location in Carlsbad. Close to shopping, restaurants, and even Costco! Very close to Legoland, but still close enough to visit attractions in San Diego or on the coast. The rooms were recently updated and felt significantly fresher than the last time we stayed here. They are more spacious than the standard two-queen hotel room. The daytime staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pool is large and warm for the kids to play in October. 5 min drive or shuttle to Lego land, some food near by at the windmill and mall across also costco. Staff is great, kind and attentive to any needs we had.

The room was clean, I walked around in my white socks and they were still white. Had good A/C comfortable beds and I had asked for extra pillows and they were there in the room when I arrived. It was my 3 children and I and the hot water in the shower never ran out also had great water pressure. The second night the jacuzzi was working and the pool was clean. The pool area was absolutely beautiful with nice covered and uncovered chaise as well as plenty of clean towels pool side.
